I have a new favorite book series: Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. One of my favorite characters is Nico di Angelo, Son of Hades, the Ghost King. I was doodling a anime/manga-like sketch of him during church today, and wondered what it would look like in "real life." This was the result. It ended up being very different from the sketch (which I will upload when I finish editing it), but I like it. A LOT. This is the first photomanipulation I've made that I actually like. That actually looks *good.*  Took about 5 hours or so on Adobe Photoshop 7.0 The see-through girl is supposed to be Bianca (Nico's sister), the boy: Nico, the eyes: Hades, the ugly thing with crown: King Minos. ---- Little boy -  Eyes -  Dead looking guy -  Sword -  Ghost girl -  Smoke textures -      Pile of bones -  Crown -  Skull in Ace decal -  Greek letters -  The character of Nico di Angelo belongs to Rick Riordan. |

About the dress . . . I really just found this photoshoot set with this girl in a white dress made up like a ghost in a graveyard. She looked so ethereal and, well, ghost-like, that I had to use her, lol.
And I know Nico's sword is black . . . but the little skull seemed so perfect I had to use this one. I probably could have colored it black, but I'm terrible at coloring. =/
