I have a new favorite book series: Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. One of my favorite characters is Nico di Angelo, Son of Hades, the Ghost King. I was doodling a anime/manga-like sketch of him during church today, and wondered what it would look like in "real life." This was the result. It ended up being very different from the sketch (which I will upload when I finish editing it), but I like it. A LOT.
This is the first photomanipulation I've made that I actually like. That actually looks *good.*
Took about 5 hours or so on Adobe Photoshop 7.0
The see-through girl is supposed to be Bianca (Nico's sister), the boy: Nico, the eyes: Hades, the ugly thing with crown: King Minos.
